

A Bit Like LaughterThere are some places where it’s very hard to be sad and the beach is one of them. It’s the salty wind in the air I guess, blowing away your cap and tripping you as you run after it, laughing in spite of yourself. That and the rhythmic beating of the waves, calming until a particularly large wave engulfs your leg and leaves you covered with green ribbons of sea-weed; sparking your awareness and making you long for the sea to come again, but it never does so finally you come to it. Most of all I think it’s the sand though. What a joy it is to dig your bare feet into it after being enslaved by socially acceptable shoes for so long, aA Bit Like Laughter
